The moccasin comes in a multitude of other models more or less popular, including the "Belgian Loafer": the Belgian moccasin, which can be recognized by the small knot (or other ornament or on the contrary very pure without yoke) that adorns its forehead
Very comfortable and practical, it can be worn indoors as well as outdoors and can be produced in eccentric colors and materials.
Finally, it is appropriate to speak about the slipper, true institution of the indoor shoe that the dandies appreciate.
Shaped in calfskin and in the vast majority of cases without ornaments, it is particularly supple and comfortable. It offers itself as an elegant alternative to slippers.
There are many others, notably the "pump" which is a very dressy moccasin that is worn with a tuxedo as part of a ceremonial register. However its use is so limited (it is often preferred to a pair of varnished richelieu) that you probably will never come across it one day!
